Boggs, winner of Huffman's 2nd Annual Chili Cook-off
Some of my family
like to eat chili "Cinncinatti" style, over pasta, some don't. You may
top your chili with whatever you like, these ingregredients are what we use. My
husband add's hot sauce to his, something absurd like "Dave's Insanity",
my son uses "Tabasco", but the basic recipe is "kid friendly".
ENJOY!!

Boggs Chili Recipe
3
lbs. ground round, browned 1 med. to lg. onion, chopped , browned with the meat
ADD 1 lg. can hot chili beans, or 3 small cans, including liquid 1 large can or
jar tomato juice one med. can chopped tomatoes, including liquid salt/fresh ground
pepper to taste 3 Tbsp. dried parsley 3 tsp. sugar chili powder to taste stir
occasionally cook for a minimum of 2 hours, do not put the lid on tight, so it
can thicken better if made early in the morning or a day or 2 ahead! Serve plain
or over your favorite pasta, you may top it with chopped onion, red or green pepper,
cheddar cheese, or whatever sounds good to you!

 HUFFMAN'S
ANNUAL SHOPPING SPREE!
Mindy
and Tom Westfall squared off against Michelle and Kevin McGovern on
Thursday, May 20, 2004for Huffman's annual shopping spree. The McGoverns were
the winners, collecting more groceries in a 3 minute period ... although the Westfalls
were tough competitors! As winners, the McGoverns were given an additional 1:30
to shop for more groceries, which they graciously donated to a local food pantry.

 Huffman's
Market made state history on April 18, 2004 becoming the first store in
Ohio to have carryout liquor sales on Sunday.The store now may sell beer, wine
and liquor from 10 a.m. to midnight on Sundays.
"I'm very excited,'' Tim Huffman said. "The voters won out. It makes
me feel great that I got it done, and it's nice to know we're the first in the
state.'' According
to the Franklin County Board of Elections, 241 of 284 voters -- 85 percent --
supported the liquor option. See
