I've
lived in UA since: 1966, and I am a graduate
of UAHS, Class of 1975.
Prior
to owning Yankee Trader: I moved to Arizona
in 1983 and returned to Columbus to help take care
of my sick mother.
How
I started my business: My sister and I took
over the business after my mother passed away in 2000.
The
most rewarding part of my job: I've always
loved a challenge and believe me, this has been a
big one!
My
recreational activities: Slots.
My
family members are: Husband Greg Howard, daughter
Casi Howard, and CoCo and Mitzi, our weiner dogs.
The
best kept secret about my business:
I don't want it to be a secret. I want everyone to
come into the store and have fun and say hello.
My
favorite UA place to frequent: My house.
My
fondest memories of UA: Lunch at Arlington
Pharmacy and hanging out at Kingsdale.
My
favorite TV show: The Lifetime Channel.
My
future plans for my business: To have everyone
is UA stop by the Yankee Trader.
My
favorite food: Crab legs.
My
favorite UA Event or holiday: Fourth of July.
My
greatest inspiration was:
my mother.
